Nikolina Đekić has MSc degree in vegetable science. She received both, BSc and MSc degrees from Universitiy of Banja Luka Faculty of Agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is member of a project teams in different scientific research projects. She works as a teaching assistant at this institution in Horticulture field of research. Her research interests also include influence of different types of light on the growth and development of horticultural plants in  in vitro condition, use of cytokinins for the purpose of reducing the effects of stress caused by salinization of soil substrate and activities realted to the on-farm conservation of genetic resource.
