Nermin Suljanović is a full professor and head of the Department of Telecommunications at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he has been since 2004. He received his B.S. from the University of Tuzla in 1997 and M.S. in 2001. He received Ph.D. in electrical engineering from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2004.

In the period from 2001 to 2004 he was a PhD student and researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. In 2015 and 2016, he served as a member of the editorial board of Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences. He has published more than 70 journal and conference papers and 5 textbooks.
