Zdenka Babić received the doctoral degree from the University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1999. She is currently a Full Professor at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Her research includes signal processing, image processing, and algorithms for signal and data analysis. Prof. Zdenka Babić published three scientific and three professional national books, a chapter in an international monograph, about 100 papers in journals and conferences, and participated as coordinator or core partner in more than 50 research projects. She has developed graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of signal processing, image processing and multimedia. She was a vice dean for education and a vice dean for research, a head of General Electrical Engineering Cathedra and head of the PhD ICT study programme, a member of Scientific Council of the Republic of Srpska, a member of FP7 ICT and H2020 Committee for ICT, and currently she is a member the Senate of the University of Banja Luka. She is an IEEE member.
