Adrian Asănică, PhD (M) is an Associate Professor, Vice-dean of the Faculty of Horticulture with 17 years’ experience in research and education He is a pomologist with particular interest in resistance breeding, cultivar evaluation and relation between scion and rootstock. He led different research projects and he is also Expert for the COST Food and Agriculture Committee, a consultant for the international project ERANETs, the national contact person for Era-IB, Susfood, EraNet Plus FACCE-JPI, and correspondent member of ASAS.
