Business – university cooperation in the application of ICT in agriculture
As part of the cooperation with the business sector in the field of ICT application in agriculture (WP4), on Saturday, February 20, 2021, the cooperation of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka with the company “Agrodron” from Serbia began. The company “Agrovoće” from Laktasi is also involved in the cooperation. The idea of the cooperation is to examine the practical use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the protection of plums from diseases and pests. The research will be performed on the plantations of the company “Agrovoće”. The company “Agrodron” will perform the treatment with drones, while the researchers of the Faculty of Agriculture will be in charge of monitoring the effectiveness of the applied pesiticides.
