A practical workshop on the use of information and communication technologies in agriculture was held at the Faculty of Agriculture in Banja Luka. The workshop was attended by students from different agricultural disciplines, while members of the VIRAL project team: prof. Miljan Cvetković, Ph.D., Milan Šipka, M.Sc., and Petar Nikolić, M.Sc., presented on this occasion the way weather stations, irrigation sensors and automatic insect traps work as well as available web platforms, data processing methods and other segments of ICT technologies in agriculture. The students showed a special interest in operating the DJI Mavic 2 drone, which is used at the faculty for taking pictures of field trials.
