A delegation of the University of Cadiz (Spain) visited the University of Banja Luka within the ERASMUS+ exchange program from June 13 to 19, 2022. The delegation consisted of 25 members of the teaching and technical staff.
The first day of the visit, some of the ERASMUS+ and HORIZON projects in which the University of Banja Luka participates were presented to the guests from Cadiz. On that occasion, the VIRAL (Vitalising Relevance in Agricultural Learning) project was presented, as the first ERASMUS+ project from component KA2 in which UNIBL has a coordinating role, and which is implemented by the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka.
The VIRAL project was presented by prof. Dr. Željko Vaško, member of the project team. He first introduced the guests with the goals and dynamics of project implementation and project partners. In the continuation of the presentation, the emphasis was on the project results achieved so far, as well as on the activities that should be implemented by the end of the project.
In the presentation, the guests were also provided with links to the project’s website and individual documents and tools that were created as its results. Some challenges that the coordinator faces during the management of project implementation are also mentioned.
The guests showed interest for the project and judged its goals as trendy with the transformation of agricultural production in the direction of greater application of ICT in agriculture and ways of transferring knowledge relevant to the secotr of agriculture. They also asked several questions to which they received answers from the presenter.
The presentations continued with the presentation of other UNIBL projects that were selected for this occasion.
This presentation can be added to the set of presentations used to disseminate the VIRAL project and its results. Thanks to the guests from Cadiz, VIRAL became known indirectly in Spain as well.
