The hackathon is about to begin
The hackathon will be held in the period from May 20 to 22, 2021 in Banja Luka and will last continuously for 48 hours, after which the teams will present their solutions to an expert jury. At the beginning of the VIRAL hackathon, all participants will be introduced to the problems for which they need to create a solution, and the focus is on two topics:
– Optimization of irrigation systems, including the specifics of individual plant species
– Measuring workforce efficiency
A total of 5 teams with 4 members each were registered, as follows:

- Demetra
- AgroCode
- Full Stack
- Šestica +
VIRAL hackathon is intended for students of the University of Banja Luka, the University of Tuzla and the University of Bijeljina. Mentors from different fields will work with the teams, who will provide support in finding the best solution for the defined problems.
The general sponsor of the hackathon is the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Srpska.
