Training in Chamber of Economy of Montenegro: Digital transformation in agriculture

As part of the VIRAL project, a training was held at the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro in order to promote digital transformation and the application of ICT in agriculture. UDG representatives prepared a presentation entitled “Digital transformation in agriculture” as part of the Digital Day, on Friday, July 22, 2022. starting at 1 p.m., in the premises of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro. As part of the presentation, an overview of the activities of the VIRAL project was given. The presentation covered foundations of the process of digital transformation and the application of ICT solutions in agriculture. The participants were informed about the projects that are being implemented in this domain in Montenegro, such as H2020 DEMETER, H2020 EUROCC, H2020 AIMHiGH, FoodHub Center of Excellence, etc.

The presentation was attended by the project partners from UDG and Plantaže, and representatives from industry sector and Chamber of economy. It was agreed that another similar workshop will be held in October, organized by the ICT and Agriculture sections of the Chamber of Economy.
