On Monday and Tuesday 03-04 April, Western Balkans Institute and Faculty of Agriculture Belgrade University will host in Belgrade a group of representatives of agricultural and engineering faculties and technological incubators from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Romania (Agenda). More than 30 participants will share and discuss experiences in the organization of student hackathons and organization of regional Smart Agriculture Technology EXPO events, with an aim to improve these events in the upcoming period and gather even larger network of participants. The first 3 editions of the regional EXPO were organized in 2021 and 2022.
During their stay in Belgrade, participants will pay visits to technological company Agrodron which is a provider of drones for agricultural purposes, and AgTech Super Cluster within Serbia Innovates project , which has been established at the end of 2022.
The workshop will be organized within the VIRAL project which is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ CBHE programme. Along with the countries of the region the project consortium also includes the Universities of Maribor, Bucharest and Wageningen.
